Zaragoza: Girl's drawings help identify kidnapping suspect

An eight-year-old girl in Borja, Zaragoza, successfully helped the Guardia Civil identify a man accused of attempting to kidnap her. The incident occurred in mid-October when the child was returning home for lunch. According to authorities, a 48-year-old man approached her at her building's entrance, offering sweets to entice her into another residence. When she refused, he allegedly grabbed her arm and attempted to force her away, threatening her to remain silent if she told her parents.

The girl managed to break free and flee to her home. To assist the investigation, she provided drawings that depicted the man's distinctive physical features, including specific tattoos on his arms and scars on his face and neck. These illustrations proved vital for the Tarazona investigation units in locating the suspect.

The man was located on October 30 and, following a statement on November 5, was released with charges for alleged unlawful detention.
