Zaragoza health centers undergo 3.7 million euro energy rehabilitation
The Aragonese Health Service (SALUD) has launched energy rehabilitation projects for the Casetas and Miralbueno health centers in Zaragoza. The total investment for execution and project management is 3.7 million euros, with 40% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The works aim to improve thermal performance, reduce energy demand, and increase indoor comfort. In Casetas, the project is expected to reduce non-renewable primary energy consumption by over 93% and improve the building's energy rating from C to A for CO2 emissions. The contract for Casetas was awarded to ACYC Obras y Servicios, S.L.U. for approximately 2.3 million euros, with an eight-month execution period.
In Miralbueno, Elecnor Servicios y Proyectos, S.A.U. has been awarded the contract for approximately 1.38 million euros, with an estimated five-month timeline. These improvements include reinforcing insulation in facades and roofs, replacing exterior windows, and installing more efficient lighting and climate control systems.
