Zaragoza to host Spain's first autonomous vehicle congress

Zaragoza will host AUCON, the first Spanish congress dedicated specifically to autonomous and connected vehicles, on November 24 and 25 at Mobility City. The event is organized by Fundación Ibercaja and ANFAC.

The congress aims to bring together manufacturers, technology companies, mobility operators, research centers, and government administrations to discuss the evolution of mobility. Key topics include artificial intelligence, sensors, advanced communications, data analysis, and electrification. Participants will address technical, regulatory, and social challenges, as well as the impact of software-defined vehicles on the automotive value chain.

Confirmed or expected participants include major industry players such as Uber, Waymo, Cabify, SEAT, Ford, Nissan, Stellantis, Bosch Mobility, Ficosa, Antolin, and Indra. The program will feature institutional openings and demonstrations of autonomous vehicles in controlled circuits and on the streets of Zaragoza.
