Zavier Gozo transfers from Real Salt Lake to Crystal Palace for $15 million

Real Salt Lake has confirmed the transfer of academy graduate Zavier Gozo to Premier League club Crystal Palace for a reported fee of approximately $15 million. The deal represents a club record sale for Real Salt Lake.

Gozo, a 19-year-old wingback and winger, has made 50 appearances for Real Salt Lake, recording 10 goals and eight assists. After joining the RSL academy in 2021 and playing for the Real Monarchs, he made his first-team debut at age 16 in 2023. He recently participated in his first MLS All-Star Game.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish welcomed the talent, stating he looks forward to seeing what Gozo achieves in South London. Gozo signed a five-year contract with the English club, describing the move to the Premier League as a dream. While he has not yet made a senior appearance for the United States national team, he is considered a rising prospect for the 2026 World Cup.
