Zay Flowers provides positive injury update for Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers has provided a positive update regarding a lingering hamstring injury. After missing time or being limited during the first three games of the season, Flowers participated fully in practice on Thursday, expressing optimism that the issue is being resolved.
Despite limited availability, Flowers has been highly efficient, leading the team with 234 receiving yards on just 10 catches. His return to full practice could provide a significant boost to the Ravens' passing attack.
The team is also awaiting the return of rookie wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane, who is expected to be eligible to come off injured reserve in Week 6 following a wrist fracture sustained in Week 1. The Ravens' offense has faced challenges at the wide receiver and tight end positions, relying on players like Rashod Bateman and Chris Moore while waiting for key personnel to return to full health.
