Zayn Sofuoğlu to debut in historical drama Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı

Zayn Sofuoğlu, the seven-year-old son of former world champion motorcyclist Kenan Sofuoğlu, is set to make his acting debut in the TRT 1 historical drama series ‘Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı’.

Zayn will portray the childhood of Şehzade Selim, the grandson of Fatih Sultan Mehmed, who later ascended the Ottoman throne as Yavuz Sultan Selim. His inclusion in the cast is expected to expand the series' narrative to include the subsequent generations of the Ottoman dynasty.

Known for his early skills in driving luxury vehicles and go-karts under his father's supervision, Zayn's transition from motorsports to television has garnered significant social media interest.
