ZB Bank branch in Gutu temporarily closed after ATM robbery

Robbers broke into the ZB Bank branch at Mpandawana Growth Point in Gutu, reportedly entering through the roof. Once inside, the perpetrators used explosives to blast an ATM and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The bank's alarm system was activated during the robbery, leading the branch manager to the scene. The manager was reportedly injured while attempting to flee from the robbers.

As a result of the break-in and damage to the ATM, ZB Bank has temporarily closed the Gutu branch. The bank has notified clients of the closure, though no timeline for reopening has been provided.
