Zcash launches Zillions Anoma-powered browser wallet
Zcash has introduced Zillions, a new browser-based wallet powered by Anoma. The tool is designed to prioritize mainstream users by offering a simplified approach to Zcash wallet design.
Key features include support for both transparent and shielded ZEC transfers, multiple-account management via the Zillions Keychain extension, and Ledger hardware-wallet support at launch. Keystone integration is expected to follow in the coming week. The wallet utilizes client-side multicore transaction proving and claims account syncing speeds of under 30 seconds.
The system consists of two connected components: a browser application and a Keychain extension. The extension allows users to create, import, and switch between multiple Zcash accounts or seed phrases. Designed for compatibility with Chrome, Firefox, and Brave, the application operates within a browser sandbox, meaning it does not require root access or administrator permissions and can function without accessing local files.
