ZDF crime series Jenseits der Spree returns for sixth season
The ZDF crime series ‘Jenseits der Spree’ is returning for its sixth season, featuring eight new episodes set in Berlin-Köpenick. The series stars Jürgen Vogel as Commissioner Robert Heffler, a single father of three daughters, alongside Mavi Neumann, played by Aybi Era.
The new season includes one of the final performances of actress Luna Jordan, who passed away in May at the age of 25. She appears in the series as the character Stella.
The first episode, titled ‘Kontrollverlust’, follows Heffler and Neumann as they investigate the murder of a security guard at a stadium, an incident that also leaves the victim's pregnant girlfriend critically injured.
