ZDF crime series ‘Serial Cleaner’ premieres on streaming and television

The new ZDF crime thriller series ‘Serial Cleaner’ is now available for streaming and scheduled for television broadcast. The six-episode series follows Teri Marquard, a cleaning lady who witnesses a murder at a luxury hotel. To fund her daughter’s expensive medical treatments and protect herself, she enters into a deal to clean crime scenes for criminals.

Actress Aylin Tezel, who portrays Teri Marquard, noted that the intense, high-alert nature of the character had a physical impact on her, leading to difficulty sleeping even after filming concluded.

All episodes were released on the ZDF Mediathek streaming platform on September 14, 2026. The series will begin airing on ZDFneo on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, with two episodes broadcast each Wednesday at 21:45 and 22:30.
