ZDF crime series Stralsund features final role for Alexander Held

The ZDF crime series “Stralsund - Dunkle Tiefen” marks the final appearance of actor Alexander Held, who passed away unexpectedly in May at the age of 67. Held portrays Chief Inspector Karl Hidde, a character who plans to resign from the Stralsund criminal police force.

The 28th film in the series follows an investigation into the murder of Hark Reimers, the owner of the Hark & Sea fishery, who was beaten and drowned in the harbor. The investigation is led by Chief Inspector Jule Zabek, Detective Tomasz Nowak, and Hidde, as they navigate different leads regarding the crime and the financial struggles facing local fishing businesses.
