ZDF documentary examines European security and NATO's eastern flank

A new ZDF documentary series titled ‘Am Puls’ explores the growing sense of global instability caused by war, inflation, and the climate crisis. The program examines how these macro-level uncertainties influence individual daily decisions, ranging from family planning to economic management.

One segment of the documentary follows German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius in Lithuania during a military exercise conducted by a German brigade permanently stationed on NATO’s eastern flank. This coverage highlights the shifting landscape of European security policy and the increasing uncertainty regarding the future role of the United States in international stability.
