ZDF launches new crime series ‘Frankfurt Mord’
ZDF is launching a new crime series titled ‘Frankfurt Mord - Ein neues Leben’. The production features Marie-Lou Sellem as the experienced and unconventional investigator Sarah Frankfurter.
The plot centers on the investigation of a woman's death near the river Main in Frankfurt. The victim, a lawyer, had been a public advocate for the relaxation of the Embryo Protection Act. The investigation involves a new colleague, Jakob Loose, played by Johannes Hegemann, who is also revealed to be a one-night stand for Frankfurter.
The series is available for streaming on the ZDF Mediathek starting October 3, with a television premiere scheduled for October 10 at 8:15 PM.
