ZDF launches new crime series Serial Cleaner

The German broadcaster ZDF is releasing a new six-part crime series titled ‘Serial Cleaner’, an adaptation of the Argentine series ‘La Chica Que Limpia’. The drama follows Teri, a cleaning professional who becomes an involuntary accomplice in covering up crimes after witnessing a murder committed by a member of a wealthy hotelier family.

Driven by the need to fund life-saving medical treatments and stem cell transplants for her severely immunocompromised daughter, Teri is coerced into using her skills to eliminate forensic evidence. The narrative explores her struggle as she becomes caught between a criminal family and the state criminal police office.

The series is available in the ZDF media library, with a broadcast schedule on ZDF neo starting September 30, featuring two 45-minute episodes every Wednesday.
