ZDF leads German television ratings with crime film success

ZDF achieved a significant viewership victory with its crime film ‘Die Polizistin und die Todesstille’, attracting an average of 4.62 million viewers and a 21.3 percent market share.

Following elections in Berlin and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, there was a notable increase in demand for political information. ARD’s ‘Brennpunkt’ and various special broadcasts saw high engagement, with ‘Brennpunkt’ reaching 2.69 million viewers. Other notable programming included the talk show ‘Maischberger’ and the late-night news ‘Tagesthemen’. On RTL, Günther Jauch’s ‘Wer wird Millionär?’ also performed well.
