ZDF premieres new German mockumentary series ‘Nine to Five - Das Amt’

The new German workplace mockumentary series ‘Nine to Five - Das Amt’ is premiering on the ZDFmediathek. The show is set in a fictional citizens' office in Berlin-Tiergarten-Mitte-West.

The plot follows Ronja Keller, played by Friederike Kempter, a new department head from the private sector attempting to implement new methods within a rigid bureaucratic environment. Her ambitions clash with a team defined by established routines, complex hierarchies, and administrative chaos.

The series features an ensemble cast including Lisa Hrdina as Conny Beckmann, Yasin El Harrouk as Orkan Günes, and Kathrin Angerer as Doris Köhler. The first season is available for streaming starting October 2, 2026, with weekly double episodes scheduled for broadcast on ZDFneo starting October 27.
