ZDF series ‘Wake up’ starring Luna Jordan to premiere

The six-part series ‘Wake up’ is set to premiere on ZDF, featuring actress Luna Jordan. The drama follows the story of two inseparable sisters, Clara and Emilia, whose lives are fractured after a skiing accident leaves Clara in a coma for two years.

During a study involving nanobot research led by Hevi Abdel-Nansen, an unplanned consciousness transfer occurs between the researcher and the subject, Emilia. This technological anomaly provides a potential, albeit controversial, method for the sisters to connect and for Clara to temporarily experience life through another body. The series will be available for streaming on ZDF starting October 23, with linear broadcasts on ZDFneo beginning October 28.
