ZDF to air four new 'XY gelöst' episodes in September and November 2026

ZDF announced that its true‑crime series “XY gelöst”, a spin‑off of “Aktenzeichen XY… ungelöst”, will broadcast four new episodes in autumn 2026. The episodes will be shown as two double‑billings on Wednesday evenings, first on 16 September at 20:15 and 21:00 and later on 25 November at the same times. All four programmes will be available in the ZDF Mediathek from 9 September 2026.

The opening episode, titled “Stumm vor Angst”, recounts the 2004 murder of a 21‑year‑old woman in a small village, a case that was solved 22 years later after a breakthrough phone call. The second episode, “Die Tote im Rollkoffer”, follows the discovery of a body in a half‑buried suitcase. Host Sven Voss interviews witnesses, forensic experts, the original investigators and prosecutors, and explains the investigative methods that led to the resolutions.
