ZDF to Air Four Special Episodes of True‑Crime Series “XY gelöst” in 2026
German public broadcaster ZDF has scheduled four special episodes of the true‑crime series “XY gelöst.” The episodes will be shown on two Wednesdays: 29 April and 10 June 2026, each night at 20:15 and 21:00.
The first night will feature “Mord im Karneval,” revisiting the 1988 murder of 24‑year‑old Petra Nohl in Cologne, solved after 34 years using modern DNA analysis. The follow‑up “Tödliche Nachtschicht” examines the 2007 stabbing of a bistro‑owner’s sister in the same city, solved after a tip and DNA evidence. On 10 June the program will air “Begegnung mit einem Mörder,” about the 2010 killing of a mother near Worms, and “Verhängnisvolle Vergangenheit,” which recounts the 2025 murder of a 61‑year‑old man found tied and stabbed in his apartment. Episodes can be streamed online via ZDF’s media library from 22 April 2026.
