ZDF to broadcast seven World Cup 2026 matches over four days

Germany’s public broadcaster ZDF will air seven live FIFA World Cup 2026 matches across four days, beginning the night of 15‑16 June. The opening coverage features Saudi Arabia vs Uruguay in Miami, followed by Iran vs New Zealand in Los Angeles, and Austria vs Jordan in Dallas. A primetime evening on 17 June will showcase Portugal vs DR Congo and England vs Croatia, with commentary from the ZDF studio in Berlin.

The schedule also includes Czech Republic vs South Africa and Canada vs Qatar on 18 June, and highlights Germany’s second group game, a 22:00 CET match against Ivory Coast on 20 June. Presenters such as Alexander Ruda, Jochen Breyer and Katrin Müller‑Hohenstein, along with experts Friederike Kromp, Christoph Kramer and Per Mertesacker, will lead the broadcasts. All matches will be available live on ZDF and via the ZDF streaming portal.
