ZDF to release ‘Serial Cleaner’ starring Aylin Tezel
The German television network ZDF is releasing ‘Serial Cleaner’, a six-part series that serves as a German adaptation of a successful Argentine production. The drama stars Aylin Tezel as Teri, a single mother who returns to Germany after abandoning her medical studies in Hungary.
Driven by the need to fund medical care for her daughter, Luca, who suffers from a severe congenital genetic disease, Teri enters into a dangerous arrangement with a criminal family. The plot is set in motion when Teri witnesses Christian Karanz, a member of the Karanz family, commit a murder while she is working at their hotel. To protect herself and secure funds for her daughter, she agrees to act as a crime scene cleaner for the family.
The series will be available for streaming on the ZDF portal starting Monday, September 14. Additionally, ZDFneo will broadcast the show in weekly double episodes beginning Wednesday, September 30.
