ZDFneo to air sports comedy “Die Abräumer”

The sports comedy “Die Abräumer” is set to air on ZDFneo, following its online premiere. The film tells the story of Karo, a former bowling prodigy who must overcome past trauma to save her family's bowling alley.

Facing the threat of demolition by a real estate developer, Karo and her mother need 700,000 euros to exercise their right of first refusal. Their primary hope lies in competing in the ‘Big Battle Bowl’ in Braunschweig, which offers a 100,000 euro prize. Directed by Torsten Wacker, the film follows Karo and her teammates as they train to secure their future.
