Łomża subregion launches 34.2 million PLN training voucher program

A new educational initiative titled ‘Bony na szkolenie w subregionie łomżyńskim 2’ has been launched to provide professional development opportunities in the Łomża subregion. The project has a total budget of 34.2 million PLN, with 28.2 million PLN sourced from European Funds for Podlaskie for the 2021–2027 period.

Eligible participants, including residents of Łomża and seven surrounding counties such as Hajnowski, Siemiatycki, and Bielski, can receive up to 5,000 PLN for courses, training, or postgraduate studies. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, reside in the covered area, and have no active business of their own. Participants are required to contribute at least one-tenth of the costs from their own funds.

The program aims to address growing skill gaps in digital and ecological competencies, including areas like cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Beyond direct funding, the project offers educational and vocational counseling and the ability to create individual development plans. Recruitment is expected to begin between late October and November.
