US Open: Zeballos, Andreozzi, and Cerúndolo eliminated

Argentine players Horacio Zeballos and Guido Andreozzi have been eliminated from the US Open 2026 men's doubles competition.

Defending champions Horacio Zeballos and Marcel Granollers lost in the quarterfinals to the duo of Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram with a score of 6-4, 6-4. The loss ended their bid to repeat their 2025 title. Granollers had previously dealt with physical concerns, including a suspected ankle injury during the round of 16 against Máximo González and Andrés Molteni.

Guido Andreozzi, competing alongside Manuel Guinard, was also eliminated in the quarterfinals. After a competitive match that included a tie-break, they fell to Harri Heliövaara and Henry Patten with a final score of 7-6, 6-7, 2-6.

In the men's singles draw, Francisco Cerúndolo was eliminated in the fourth round by Alexander Blockx in a four-set match: 6-3, 4-6, 7-5, 7-5.
