ZEE5 expands regional content with new Marathi and Malayalam slates

ZEE5 has announced expanded content slates for its Marathi and Malayalam language offerings, incorporating original series, films, reality shows, and live sports.

The Marathi ZEE5 lineup for its second year includes returning franchises such as ‘Hey Kay Navin? Season 2’ and ‘Devkhel Season 2’. New original series include ‘Kon Yashwant Pansare?’ and ‘112’. The film slate features post-theatrical premieres like ‘Tumbadchi Manjula’ and ‘Adkitta’. Additionally, the platform is introducing AI-led titles and a stand-up comedy show, ‘Hasva Hasavi – The Marathi Stand-Up Show’. Live sports coverage will include FIFA, Bundesliga, Serie A, and ILT20.

In the Malayalam segment, ZEE5 is focusing on diverse genres including drama, romance, and hip-hop reality through ‘Kerala Underground’. The sports lineup for Malayalam audiences will feature football-centric titles such as ‘Panthadikkam’ and ‘Malabar Cup’, alongside international football properties like Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.
