ZEE5 launches expansive multilingual slate across seven Indian languages
ZEE5, India’s leading home‑grown streaming platform, announced its most ambitious multilingual content slate, covering Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada and Bangla. The rollout includes original series, films, live‑sports events, AI‑driven storytelling, animation and children’s programming.
Highlighted Hindi titles feature series such as "Kambli" (based on cricketer Vinod Kambli), "The Scam: Leaked", "Coffee King", "Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai 2.0" hosted by R. Madhavan, a revived "Zee Horror Show" and new films like "Pooja Meri Jaan" and "Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai". Regional offerings list new and returning series and films for each language, including titles like "Koose Munisamy Veerappan" (Tamil), "Shrimathi" (Telugu), "Ayyana Mane" (Kannada), "A Queen" (Malayalam), "Hey Kay Navin?" (Marathi) and "Shwetkali" (Bangla).
The slate is produced in partnership with major Indian studios such as Jio Studios, Maddock Films, Pen Studios, Tips Films, Reliance Entertainment, Annapurna Studios and others. ZEE5’s business head emphasized the platform’s aim to back bold, unconventional storytelling and shape the entertainment landscape rather than merely follow it.
