Zeekr opens first East Malaysia retail pop-up in Kuching

Zeekr has launched its first retail presence in East Malaysia with the opening of a pop-up store at The Spring Kuching. The outlet is operated by the Ghee Hua Group of Companies, which entered into a dealer agreement with the Geely-owned electric vehicle brand in July 2026.

The pop-up store allows customers to view models such as the Zeekr 7X, Zeekr 009, and Zeekr X. The expansion follows Zeekr’s entry into the Malaysian market in December 2024, with the brand reporting over 5,000 owners nationwide as of August 2026.

This pop-up serves as an interim step toward a long-term strategy for the region. Zeekr aims to open a dedicated Zeekr Space Kuching showroom and a separate service centre in the first quarter of 2027. Currently, the brand is supporting East Malaysian customers through a mobile service program.
