Zeetin Technologies unveils tricycle factory in Abuja

Former President Goodluck Jonathan unveiled the Zeetin Technologies tricycle factory in the Idu Industrial Area of Abuja on October 21, 2026. The facility focuses on the assembly and distribution of VZ150 and VZ200 tricycle models within Nigeria.

Operating through a technical partnership with Indonesia-based VIAR Motor, the company aims to support the national economy by providing affordable transportation solutions for small businesses, farmers, and artisans. Company Chairman Robert Azibaola stated that the production process utilizes Nigerian labor, with technicians trained at VIAR’s works in Semarang, Indonesia.

Future plans for the factory include increasing local component production and developing compressed natural gas (CNG) and electric tricycle models to further enhance local industrial capacity.
