ZeGeVege festival and Archbishop Hranić address inclusion
The 18th ZeGeVege festival, organized by the Animal Friends association, recently concluded at Zagreb's European Square. The event featured domestic and international exhibitors promoting vegan food and cruelty-free cosmetics. This year's edition introduced a new visual identity designed by artist Ivana Mrčela, aimed at using art to foster empathy and a healthier worldview.
Separately, Archbishop Đuro Hranić addressed hundreds of families at the Shrine of Our Lady of Refuge in Aljmaš during the Meeting of Croatian Catholic Families. In his sermon, Hranić emphasized the importance of true social inclusion, stating that a society becomes truly inclusive only when it moves beyond discussing what to do for people with disabilities and begins asking what can be achieved together with them.
