ZeGeVege festival to hold 18th edition in Zagreb

The 18th ZeGeVege sustainable living festival is scheduled to take place from September 4 to 6, 2026, at the European Square in Zagreb. Organized by the association Prijatelji životinja, the event will feature vegan food vendors, cruelty-free cosmetics, and sustainable product exhibitors.

The festival program includes educational discussions led by nutritionists, activists, and athletes covering topics such as animal rights, ecology, plant-based nutrition, and feminism. International guest Michele Borzoni is set to present the Silent Spring project and exhibition.

For its 18th edition, the festival has introduced a new visual identity designed by artist and illustrator Ivana Mrčela. The new branding utilizes character-driven illustrations of animals to promote the message that animals should be viewed as individuals rather than commodities.
