ZeGeVege sustainable living festival begins in Zagreb

The 18th ZeGeVege sustainable living festival has commenced at Europski trg in Zagreb. Organized by the non-profit association Prijatelji životinja, the event runs until Sunday, September 6, 2026, with daily hours from 9:00 to 21:00.

This year’s edition features a refreshed visual identity and scenography, including illustrations by artist Ivana Mrčela. The festival focuses on animal protection, sustainability, responsible consumption, and plant-based diets. Expected guests include Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomašević and Orsat Miljenić, head of the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia.

Exhibitors from Croatia and abroad will present vegan food, cruelty-free cosmetics, and sustainable innovations. Visitors can sample various plant-based dishes, including vegan burgers, falafel, and fermented nut cheeses.
