Zeitsprung Pictures begins filming second season of Euphorie

Production has commenced on the second season of Euphorie, the German coming-of-age series produced by Zeitsprung Pictures for the streaming service RTL+. The new season will consist of six episodes.

Filming is taking place in Cologne, the Ruhr area, and Cyprus, with production expected to continue until mid-December. The project is supported by a 1.5 million euro grant from the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW.

Based on the Israeli format Euphoria, the series follows characters Mila, Jannis, and Ali as they navigate the complexities of growing up. The second season aims to maintain the radical storytelling and visual style of the first season, which received significant critical acclaim.
