Zeki Çeler announces TDP election roadmap and vision document

Zeki Çeler, Chairman of the Social Democracy Party (TDP), has announced the party’s roadmap for the upcoming December 6 elections through the ‘10-Point Good Future Vision Document’. Speaking on Kıbrıs TV, Çeler emphasized that the party’s goal is not merely to secure parliamentary seats but to take responsibility in national governance and drive social transformation.

The TDP platform focuses on social democratic principles, including the protection of labor, support for local capital, fair taxation, and the strengthening of the social state. Key pillars of the party program include freedom, equality, solidarity, the rule of law, secularism, and environmental protection.

Regarding candidate selection, Çeler stated that the party is preparing a diverse team of experienced, young, and dynamic individuals, including women, and will release the official candidate list shortly. On international relations, Çeler advocated for a federal solution for the Cyprus problem based on United Nations parameters, emphasizing political equality and a bi-zonal, bi-communal structure.
