Zelensky: Ukraine strikes key Russian military site in Kirov and distant oil facility

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine’s armed forces hit a critical Russian military installation in Kirov, which produces components for aircraft and missile systems used in attacks on Ukrainian cities. He said the strike disrupted the supply chain that supports Russian logistics, adding, "Operations against the Russian occupation army's drone parts, navigation equipment and military gear continue."

Zelensky also claimed a successful hit on an oil facility located about 1,350 km from the Kirov target, describing both operations as a form of long‑range sanctions and a justified response to Russian aggression. The statements were posted on the social‑media platform X.
