Zelenskyy reiterated the request for 300 Patriot interceptors by winter, citing shortages of PAC‑3 missiles.

The incident follows reports that Russian forces had prepared a large‑scale attack days earlier and that Russia is losing roughly 30,000 soldiers per month, while President Vladimir Putin’s initiative in the war is waning.
