Zelenskyy announces continued long-range strikes deep into Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine will continue to conduct long-range strikes deep within Russian territory to demonstrate that peace is necessary. He stated that Russia no longer possesses a safe strategic rear, following a recent strike on an oil industry target in Tobolsk, located over 2,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

Zelenskyy emphasized that these operations aim to weaken Russia's military and economic potential while forcing Russian society to feel the costs of the war more directly. He noted that such strikes are intended to make the cost of continuing the conflict increasingly unsustainable for Moscow.

Additionally, the President warned of increasing military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang. He reported that Russia has received ballistic missiles from North Korea and is preparing for the arrival of a new contingent of North Korean soldiers, estimating the number could reach up to 50,000. Zelenskyy suggested that the development of North Korean weaponry in collaboration with Russia poses a threat to countries in Asia.
