Zelenskyy offers to halt strikes on Russia if critical infrastructure is spared

These remarks follow claims by U.S. President Donald Trump that Russia and Ukraine have agreed not to target each other’s energy infrastructure. Trump noted that the rise in global diesel prices is largely driven by the conflict and called for restraint to prevent further market strain. While the Kremlin welcomed calls for Ukraine to stop attacking fuel-producing facilities, describing such moves as a contribution to the settlement process, the conflict remains active with ongoing strikes on railway and logistics infrastructure reported by both sides.
