Zelenskyy visits Ukrainian pilots training in Canada

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the International Air Warfare College in Canada to meet with 21 members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine currently undergoing training. The pilots are preparing to operate modern combat aircraft, including F-16s and Gripens, to strengthen Ukraine's air defense capabilities.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Canada, the instructors, and the training center for providing high-quality preparation. He emphasized that highly trained and motivated pilots are a critical element in protecting Ukraine's airspace and noted his pride in this new generation of aviators.

Separately, Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Ukrainian President's office, indicated that trilateral negotiations involving Ukraine, Russia, and the United States could potentially resume in October. While the Kremlin expressed hope for future dialogue, officials noted the difficulty of predicting the success of such talks given the ongoing situation on the battlefield.
