Zelestra secures $350 million for Indiana solar project

Renewable energy developer Zelestra has secured $350 million in green financing for its 203 MW Reclamation Solar project located in Gibson County, Indiana. The financing was provided by Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), BBVA, and Societe Generale.

The project is being constructed on land formerly used for coal mining operations and is supported by a long-term power purchase agreement with Meta. It is expected to become operational by the end of 2027 and is projected to support approximately 200 jobs during its peak construction phase.

This transaction brings Zelestra’s total project financing raised in the United States to $1.14 billion for 2026. The company intends to use these funds to support the construction of more than 800 MW of new solar capacity across the country.
