Zeljko Kopić receives additional suspension for Wieczysta Kraków
Zeljko Kopić, the coach of Wieczysta Kraków, has received an additional one-match suspension for violating disciplinary regulations. The League Commission issued the penalty after Kopić attempted to circumvent an existing two-match ban.
Kopić was originally handed a two-match suspension following a red card received during a match against Widzew Łódź. The ban was intended to cover matches against Wisła Płock and GKS Katowice. However, during the match against Wisła Płock, Kopić was observed standing in the stands directly behind the substitute bench, where he continued to provide instructions to his coaching staff.
The Commission ruled that this behavior violated Article 19, Paragraph 3 of the PZPN Disciplinary Regulations. As a result of this additional penalty, Kopić will be unable to attend the upcoming match against Raków Częstochowa.
