Země živitelka agrosalon showcases New Holland tractor and John Deere combine in Czech Republic

The 52nd edition of the Země živitelka agricultural fair opens in České Budějovice on 20 August and runs until 25 August under the theme “Innovation in Every Field”. Organisers emphasise the link between modern technology and sustainable farming practices, saying that true innovation begins with healthy soil, smart water management and responsible stewardship of the landscape.

Visitors will see the Czech debut of the heavy universal New Holland T7 XD tractor (360‑435 hp) and the John Deere T6 combine, which can analyse grain composition in real time to optimise agronomic decisions. The exhibition also features autonomous machinery, digital precision‑farming solutions, thermal seed sanitation to reduce pathogens, and a range of livestock and fish‑farming displays.

Minister of Agriculture Martin Šebestyán highlighted the ministry’s financial and advisory support for farmers and food producers, as well as programmes for young growers. An animal programme includes around 350 animals, a Simmental championship and the first appearance of a Percheron horse, underscoring the fair’s blend of technology and traditional agricultural heritage.
