Země živitelka fair showcases agricultural AI and new machinery

The Země živitelka agricultural fair in České Budějovice is showcasing the intersection of modern technology and traditional farming. The event features advanced innovations including artificial intelligence, drones, and high-tech harvesting machinery capable of evaluating crop quality in real-time.

A major highlight is the Czech premiere of the New Holland T7 tractor, a high-performance machine designed for large-scale professional farming. This model features semi-autonomous capabilities where a computer manages much of the driving based on pre-set parameters, allowing the operator to focus on monitoring. The tractor includes integrated central tire inflation systems (CTIS) to optimize soil compaction and traction.

In addition to machinery, the fair emphasizes livestock and tradition, presenting approximately 350 animals, including the Percheron horse breed and Simmental beef cattle. The event also includes educational components for younger generations and specialized competitions for junior breeders.
