Zemun resident stabbed in chest during neighbor dispute

A violent confrontation between neighbors in Zemun resulted in a 61-year-old man, identified as M. O., sustaining serious chest injuries. The incident reportedly began following a traffic-related dispute where the suspect, P. G., allegedly acted aggressively toward the victim's daughter by striking her car window.

Following the encounter, the victim reportedly confronted the neighbor with a crowbar. During the ensuing physical altercation, P. G. allegedly used a sharp object to stab M. O. in the chest. The victim was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

Police arrested P. G. following the attack. According to the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, the suspect faces charges of causing serious bodily injury. During his interrogation, P. G. denied involvement in the attack. The prosecutor has requested detention for the suspect, citing the risk that he might influence witnesses or interfere with the investigation.
