Zenahive launches Aegis Force: The Scorian War in Early Access

Indie game studio Zenahive has launched its debut title, Aegis Force: The Scorian War, in Early Access on Steam. The 2.5D tactical RPG is inspired by classic series such as Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics.

Set on the continent of Ianua, the game follows a century-long conflict between a nation powered by magic and one powered by technology. The current Early Access version includes 6-8 hours of content, seven recruitable characters, and two cities to explore. Following a Kickstarter campaign that raised over $12,000, the game is priced at $24.99.

Zenahive plans to release regular updates every 4-8 weeks to add new story elements and polish the user interface. The studio is targeting a full 1.0 release in 2027, which is expected to expand the gameplay to 20-30 hours. Future plans also include bringing the title to gaming consoles.
