Zengezur Corridor impacts to be discussed at 30th Sultan Sekisi Meetings in Erzurum
The Erzurum Development Foundation (ER-VAK) has announced the agenda for the 30th Sultan Sekisi Meetings, scheduled for October 2, 2026. The event will focus on the strategic and economic implications of the Zengezur Corridor for Erzurum and the broader Eastern Anatolia region.
Organized in partnership with the Eastern Anatolia Exporters Association (DAİB), MÜSİAD Erzurum, and the Eastern Anatolia Journalists Association (DAGC), the panel will examine new trade and transportation opportunities connecting Turkey, Azerbaijan, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Discussions will address both the logistical advantages and potential risks associated with these new routes.
The meeting will be held at the Kamil Polat Conference Hall in the DAİB 1st Organized Industrial Zone and will feature experts including Ömer Madırlı, Prof. Dr. İsmayıl Hacıyev, Prof. Dr. Dilek Özdemir, and Doç. Dr. Halit Hamzaoğlu.
