Zenica-Doboj Canton allocates over 7 million KM for various sectors

The Zenica-Doboj Canton Government, led by Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, has approved more than seven million KM in funding across several sectors, including healthcare, economy, agriculture, and sports. Significant financial support was allocated to the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, alongside various incentive programs for economic and agricultural development.

In the sports sector, 696,000 KM was approved to support sports collectives for participation in official championships and competitions. Prime Minister Pivić noted that the government has secured over six million KM for sports this year.

Additionally, the government reviewed proposed amendments to the Secondary School Law. The changes aim to allow young, highly educated technical professionals to conduct practical teaching in vocational schools. Pivić stated that previous regulations requiring five years of work experience had limited employment opportunities for young specialists, often leaving positions to retired teachers. The amendments are intended to help young people gain experience and build futures within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Regarding economic development, 1,165,000 KM was approved to refund investments for crafts and activities conducted in accordance with regulations for the protection of traditional and old crafts.
