Zenica-Doboj Canton approves healthcare funding

The Zenica-Doboj Canton Government has approved funding to improve healthcare facilities and support various health-related citizen associations. Following a proposal by Health Minister Dr. Aida Salčinović, the funds were allocated through a public call for capital transfers to health centers within the canton.

Specific allocations include 100,000 KM for the Maglaj Health Center to co-finance the purchase of an ambulance, and 176,000 KM for the Visoko Health Center to acquire medical and non-medical equipment for its reconstructed emergency medical services building.

Additionally, the government approved 60,800 KM for projects led by healthcare associations. This includes 29,500 KM for organizations supporting patients with malignant diseases and 31,300 KM for other health-related associations.
