Zenica-Doboj Canton marks World Teachers' Day with education investments

During a central manifestation for World Teachers' Day in the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK), regional officials emphasized ongoing investments in the education sector. ZDK Prime Minister Nezir Pivić highlighted efforts to improve school infrastructure through the renovation of existing facilities and the construction of new buildings to better serve students and staff.

Minister of Education Mirza Mušija stated that the government is committed to restoring dignity to educators, noting that salaries in the canton have increased by more than 60 percent since the beginning of the current mandate. Selvedin Šatorović, President of the Union of Primary and Preschool Education of ZDK, announced that a new salary increase for educators is scheduled to follow in January.
