Zenith Bank to host 10th seminar on Nigeria’s non-oil exports

Zenith Bank Plc will host the 10th edition of its International Trade Seminar on Non-Oil Export on August 25, 2026. The virtual event, themed ‘Unlocking Value and Harnessing Growth in Non-Oil Export’, aims to identify strategies for expanding Nigeria’s non-oil sector and reducing the nation's reliance on raw commodity exports.

The seminar will focus on developing globally competitive value chains, improving trade infrastructure and financing, and expanding access to international markets. High-level speakers include Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, and Benedict Oramah, former President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the African Export-Import Bank.

Panel discussions will feature representatives from both the public and private sectors, including officials from the Nigerian Export-Import Bank, the Nigeria Customs Service, the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council.
