Zenith unveils Chronomaster Solo Sport with El Primero movement
Zenith has introduced the Chronomaster Solo Sport, a new three-hand timepiece designed for daily use that focuses on the high-frequency heritage of the El Primero movement. Presented at Geneva Watch Days 2026, the model distills the technical characteristics of the original 1969 caliber into a more versatile format.
The watch features a 40 mm steel case, a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel, and water resistance up to 20 ATM. It is powered by the El Primero 3620 automatic manufacture caliber, which operates at a frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour) and includes a silicon escapement and a 60-hour power reserve.
The collection includes four references available in white, black, and brown, with options both with and without a date function. Aesthetic details include a ceramic dial with a repeated Z pattern and a shark-tooth minute track inspired by historical Zenith models. The watches are equipped with a steel three-link bracelet featuring the new ZENCLASP™ deployment buckle with an integrated micro-adjustment system.
